Would you like to weave a mini landscape tapestry? Join me in my studio in Send, near Guildford, and try out tapestry weaving on a mini peg loom.
Mini tapestry workshop

An afternoon in my studio in Send, near Guildford (usually 4 hours or so)

Use of one of my mini peg looms and assorted weaving tools and a selection of hand-dyed yarns to weave a tiny landscape tapestry

No experience needed, however if you have woven before, we can play with some more advanced techniques!

£85 per person, with discounts for multiple people booking at the same time for the same date - £75 each for 2 people or £70 each for 3 or 4 people - so book with a friend or two...
Alternatively, you could weave a little tapestry techniques sampler on a mini peg loom, or I can teach on your own loom, if you would prefer – the choice is yours…

Tapestry workshops and talks at your venue
If you would like to arrange something crafty for a group of people, then contact me to chat about what might be best for your group. I usually offer three main types of event below.
Learn to weave activity session

2 hour workshop (plus setup etc)

Each person will receive a cardboard loom, weaving needle, lots of lovely yarn to weave with and full instructions so they can finish their weaving when they get home

People will learn basic weaving techniques such as plain weave, switching colours, how to take a weaving off the loom, and how to setup the loom to start again – no experience necessary!
Mini tapestry workshop

4 or more hour workshop (plus setup etc)

A mini peg loom workshop that can be focused on weaving a tiny landscape tapestry, or making a tapestry techniques sampler. Or something else of your choice!

Use of a mini peg loom and weaving tools for each person and a selection of yarns to weave with

No experience needed, however if your participants have woven before, we can play with some more advanced techniques

People are welcome to buy their mini loom and more yarn etc if they want to carry on weaving after the workshop!
Tapestry talk

1 hour tapestry talk with Q&A (plus setup etc)

Usually a ‘show and tell’ about how and why I create my tapestries - I bring looms and lots of tapestries for people to see and have my own projector to show details in close up!

£95 plus travel expenses at 45p per mile
