This weaving was inspired by the most gorgeous recycled silk ribbon in lime, sky blue and apricot, which I fell in love with! Together with a tumble of beautiful yarns, this is a very tactile hand-crafted piece of framed woven art.

I love to use natural fibres, such as wool, cotton, linen, alpaca yarn, silk, and gorgeous hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns. I also love using recycled sari silk and velvet ribbons, and yarns that would have been thrown away - always with an eye towards sustainability.
