Simple yet so beautiful and peaceful – breath deeply to feel the serenity flow in (or is that just me?)! Combining stunning hand-dyed natural and blush recycled silk ribbon with natural shades to make a very tactile hand-crafted piece of framed woven art. Soft and textural yet with a contemporary feel.

I love to use natural fibres, such as wool, cotton, linen, alpaca yarn, silk, and gorgeous hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns. I also love using recycled sari silk and velvet ribbons, and yarns that would have been thrown away - always with an eye towards sustainability.

 

I do have some dark frames available - contact me to switch this weaving into the same frame as 'Stillness'!
