This piece of hand-crafted framed woven art is part of the ‘Chalk cliffs’ series, reminiscent of the flint and limestone rock strata on the Dorset coast. Charcoal, grey and natural yarns echo the rock strata to create a very tactile and textural piece, with a contemporary feel.
 
Frame size: 23cm x 28.5cm

I love to use natural fibres, such as wool, cotton, linen, alpaca yarn, silk, and gorgeous hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns. I also love using recycled sari silk and velvet ribbons, and yarns that would have been thrown away - always with an eye towards sustainability.
